LKGS Sweeps BOLI Awards With Record Ten
Wins! 5.23.07
LKGS made a splash at this year’s BOLI
awards, taking home two Best of Long Island
awards and receiving gold and bronze certificates
in eight other categories.
The BOLI (Best on Long Island) Awards is a
nationally recognized advertising and marketing
awards program currently in its 34th year,
with 700 of Long Island’s marketing
entities, including companies, not-for-profits,
and educational institutions represented.
This year’s winners were chosen from
1364 entries in 95 categories.
The agency dominated the House Organs &
Newsletters category, with Living Spaces,
a newsletter created by LKGS for Nassau Suffolk
Lumber, winning Best of Category, and CasaBella
and Techo Times winning a gold and a bronze
certificate of excellence, respectively.
“It is so rewarding to be honored by
the Long Island Ad Club for these projects,”
principal and CEO Michael Kitakis said. “We
truly put our heart and soul into this business
and being recognized by our peers adds a certain
sense of accomplishment to the work we put
forth.”
LKGS also won gold and bronze awards in the
Internet/Extranet Site and Internet, E-Commerce,
Business-to-Business categories for their
exceptionally detailed and well designed Techo-Bloc
website and lead management software.
The beautifully illustrated 1920’s era
inspired terminal posters designed for New
World Aviation soared high above the competition,
easily winning the poster category. The creative
was so strong that the same illustrations
helped to take home a bronze in the highly
competitive direct mail category.
Other categories of recognition were Direct
Mail, Consumer Magazine and Jingles. All of
which portray LKGS Marketing’s commitment
to quality creative and client satisfaction.
“It is not easy to create compelling,
award winning creative that actually works,”
stated principal and COO Chris Graziose. “It
is inspiring to know that we can do both very
well.”
